Litigation Associate Attorney

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Litigation Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation and a proven track record of success in representing clients in court.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Texas in good standing.
  • 3+ years of experience practicing civil litigation.
  • Extensive knowledge of civil procedure and litigation strategies.
  • Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Experience with alternative dispute resolution methods, such as mediation and arbitration, is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in a variety of civil litigation matters, including but not limited to commercial disputes, personal injury claims, and employment litigation.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Prepare for and attend court hearings, trials, and settlement conferences.
  • Engage in discovery processes, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, conducting depositions, and preparing witnesses for testimony.
  • Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients' interests in negotiations with opposing counsel.
  • Provide strategic guidance and legal advice to clients throughout the litigation process.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff members to provide comprehensive legal services to clients.
